Thursday Tips: Can we recreate last weeks 100% record?

Last week it was fantastic to gain a winner in every tip, and to celebrate another NAP success was pretty good too. Our NAP is now on a four day winning streak, and we hope to extend that to five today.

3:50 Wolverhampton – El Cap (11/1) ew

A good looking Sir Michael Stoute three-year-old who has yet to fire in all three starts so far. He’s placed on all of those efforts, but not being beaten by too much. He’ll improve over the extra furlong, and receives a handy running weight.

6:10 Chelmsford – Emilia James NAP (11/8)

Mark Johnston’s two-year-old had to overcome a difficult draw at Chester last time out, and could only finish fourth in the May meeting. That was a positive run for a juvenile, previously he was an encouraging winner at Beverley.

6:45 Fairyhouse – Poppit (13/2)

If there’s anyone who can get the full potential out of a horse it’s Aidan O’Brien. He trains Poppit, whose out of a Group Two winner who also won at two-years-old. And this prospect is also a half-sister to Cheveley Park winner Embassy. Despite a below-par effort on debut, he should be much more experienced and improve significantly.

7:50 Newcastle – El Vip (9/4)

He disappointed when failing to beat one rival last time out, but something was amiss that day and he can do better in similar conditions. This Luca Cumani colt had previously finished a close third in a competitive handicap at Bath, and a recreation of that run would put him very close.

8:50 Newcastle – Kachess (6/1)

Tom Dascombe’s filly has failed to fire ever since winning a maiden in good style on debut. So far this season she looked to reclaim some of that ability when third, and unlucky in running, at Redcar. But she was hugely disappointing at Leicester last time out, and needs to put that effort well behind her.
